Actor Jeyam Ravi's Nimirndhu Nil released last week crossing eleventh hour hiccups. The film that could hit the screens only from Saturday evening show has managed to impress the audience cutting across sections.
Director Samuthirakani's taut screenplay and hardhitting dialogues have kept Nimirndhu Nil in the proud list of films that have effectively dealt with the menace of corruption. Equally appreciated was the performance of Jeyam Ravi in the film as an upright Aravidn Sivaswami and a 40 year old Narasimha Reddy with shades of grey.

National award winning director Bala is one among the celebrities who have appreciated Jeyam Ravi for his performance in Nimirndhu Nil. Jeyam Ravi has tweeted that Bala had called him and appreciated his performance in the film. His tweet says, "On cloud 9.
