Music Composer Karthik Raja, the elder son of Isaignani Ilayaraja faded out of the industry despite proving his talent with super hit songs and remarkable background score in many films. His younger brother Yuvan Shankar Raja who remains a top music director for more than a decade now has started that his brother is more talented than who is unfortunately underutilized.
However in a recent interview to a leading daily newspaper, Karthi Raja has said he has got better opportunities than his father and he is contended with helping his father who is still a most sought after music composer.
When asked about his reaction for his brother's decision to convert to Islam, Karhtik asserted that Yuvan converted to Islam with the support of his whole family.
However Karthik stated he is not happy with his brother pairing up with lyricist Vairamuthu in the film Idam Porul Eval. It is to be remembered that Ilayaraja and Viaramuthu who were ruling the Tamil film industry in 1980's have parted ways owing to creative differences and their relationship still remains sore.
