The sequel of Ride Along, Ride Along 2 will now be released on January 15, 2016. Universal Pictures has made the declaration here on Thursday. Tim Story who went behind the camera for the first part will be reprising his role for the second as well. Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi are working on the script of the film and it is expected that it will go on the floors by July, 2014.
Will Packer, Matt Alvarez and Larry Brezner will be producing the movie. It is being said that actors Ice Cube and Kevin Hart who played the lead characters in Ride Along will be back for the next as well. Other details about the cast and crew of the film are still awaited. The first part of the series did really well at the ticket window and the makers are planning to capitalize on its success.
