Last month, Producer council chairman Keyaar said in a audio launch event that Golisoda, directed by VijayMilton featuring unpopular faces predominantly, was the only film released in 2014 that has reaped profits to all people connected to film business. Now in a recent public interaction Keyaar has addedThegidi to that list.
Keyaar drew attention to the fact that Theigidi’s box office collection in the second week of its release was better than the first week which is a rare phenomenon in today’s Box office scenario. Keyaar also said that films like Theigidi succeed only because of positive word of mouth.
Thegidi was the film produced by C.V.Kumar and directed by debutante Ramesh. The film which was a murder mystery thriller featured Ashok Selvan and Janani in lead roles. The film is in its fourth week now and it is still running in many theaters.
